Dataset Updates Subscription

Overview​

Stay current with the latest ticket market data through our Dataset Updates subscription service. This service delivers daily incremental updates containing all new and modified records from the previous day, allowing you to maintain an up-to-date dataset. This service is also available to customers who have not yet purchased a bulk dataset.

Available Subscriptions​

Two subscriptions are available, matching SeatData's two datasets: Listings and Sales.

Listings Updates​

Daily delivery of two files covering the previous day's listing activity.

Listings flat file update — all new and modified ticket listings, including:

  • New listings added to the marketplace
  • Changes to existing listings
  • Quantity updates
  • Listings that have been deactivated or sold

Listing Changes update — granular field-level changes to all listings, providing detailed tracking of:

  • Individual field modifications (price, quantity, etc.)
  • Timestamp of each change
  • Before and after values for each field
  • Type of change made

Sales Updates​

Daily delivery of completed ticket sales transactions, including:

  • Transaction timestamps
  • Quantities sold
  • Sale prices (before fees)
  • Section, row, and zone information

How It Works​

  1. Daily Processing: Our system automatically processes all database changes from the previous day
  2. File Generation: Updates are compiled into compressed CSV files (gzip format)
  3. Delivery: Files are delivered each morning starting at 2:00 AM PST — via email to your registered address, or directly to your S3 bucket
  4. Secure Downloads: Email deliveries use secure, time-limited download links

Subscription Setup​

  1. Contact support@seatdata.io to initiate subscription
  2. Specify which subscriptions you need (Listings, Sales, or both)
  3. Choose your delivery method — email or direct S3 — and confirm the delivery address or bucket details
